Project Background
Mae Fah Luang University is one of the educational institutions selected by Food Innopolis to serve as a Food Innopolis Extension.
The Mae Fah Luang University Food Innopolis Extension focuses on driving and elevating the tea and coffee sectors, as well as enhancing the value of local agricultural products through a comprehensive, integrated approach. In the 2020 fiscal year, the extension received budgetary support to develop the Food Makerspace. This facility serves as a Learning Space and a service hub specifically for the private sector—particularly tea, coffee, and other food industry entrepreneurs—to develop prototype products.
These prototypes are intended for further commercial scaling, which will contribute to the country's economic development in alignment with national competitiveness policies, ultimately enhancing Thailand’s global competitive edge.
